Attending Mass and the NHS tracing app’.

It is hoped that by this weekend our three parish churches will have registered as a venue for the new NHS Covid 19 mobile phone app and will be displaying the QR scanning code for use when entering the building.

The app itself is not a substitute for churches collecting ‘test and trace’ contact details of those attending. So when booking for a place at mass you name and the names of the other members of your group plus phone numbers will still be required.

The Sunday obligation remains lifted which means that you can attend on whatever day you find convenient.

Please remember that as from the 8th August wearing face masks in the church will be a statutory requirement.
