Mental health first aiders

Mental health first aiders

Our Parish has fully trained Mental Health First Aiders. We appreciate that people at times may suffer with mental ill health, and we want to make sure you have somebody to turn to. Mental Health First Aiders are able to signpost you to relevant places to get the help that you both need and deserve, as well as just to be a friendly person to talk to. If you feel you need to talk to somebody due to poor mental health, please email our office (office@tpicr.co.uk) giving your name and the best telephone number to contact you on and a mental health first aider will make contact with you as soon as they can. Important: Please note, it may take a few days for a mental health first aider to response, so if you are having thoughts of self harm or suicide, please call the Samaritans on 116 123, or you can text Shout on 85258, or you can take yourself to A&E.
