Operation Christmas child

It is with much regret that this has had to be cancelled owing to the current climate…

Liz Ventura has suggested the following alternative:

Can you knit? Want something to keep you busy? Hats, gloves, scarves are always needed for the shoe boxes all yearround. They don’t have to be fancy. Basic knitting is greatly appreciated. I’m even happy to dop off wool…

We are excited to announce that St Marys immaculate conception Parish room will be an official collection centre for completed shoe boxes for “Operation Christmas Child” during national Collection week 9th – 16th November 8am- 12pm. Filled, completed boxes can be dropped off during these days and times ready to be moved onto the processing centres.

Liz Ventura is the collection centre co-ordinator and is needing volunteers to help. Duties will be 8am -12 Monday to Friday and will include light to medium lifting of crates, counting boxes and filling forms. All training for the logistics will be provided. Even if it’s just one of the days during these times, your help will be greatly appreciated.
